About Travis
Travis Teixeira grew up in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, the son of April Quirk, and one of six kids. Big brother to four. Little brother to one.
At Oakmont Regional High School, he was the kid people followed, not because he was loud about it, but because he showed up, worked hard, and did things the right way.
He was an athlete who played for his teammates.
He gave his time to the people around him. While working at the local Blueprint restaurant and the Meeting House Elementary School extended day program, Travis mentored younger kids and always stepped up to help.
He was accepted to every college he applied to.
He had plans.
He had a future people could already see.
On March 21, 2026, Travis died from injuries in a reckless car crash.
He was 18.
“He was the perfect brother. I couldn’t have asked for more from him. It’s going to be hard to live without him, honestly. He was a huge part of our family.”
